SPRINGFIELD - Barbara D. Reynolds, 84, died November 9, 2022, at Lewis Memorial Christian Village.

She was born in Waverly, to James Lee and Sarah Lambert Roberts.

Barbara worked for Franklin Life Insurance Company and retired as assistant librarian at Rochester High School.

She is survived by her beloved husband of 64 years, Raymond Sr.; son, Johnathon (wife, Toni) of Lakeville, MN; daughter, Cathlene Wilson of Springfield, IL; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Herb and Donna Rush; sister-in-law, Carol Reynolds; six grandchildren, six great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; son, Raymond Jr.; granddaughter, Nicole Reynolds; two brothers; three sisters; and several nieces and nephews.

She was a member of Central Baptist Church, loved writing Christian poetry and taking care of family and friends.

Cremation was performed by Premier Cremation Services.  A scattering of ashes and a private family ceremony will be held at a later date.

Memorials may be made to Central Baptist Church, the Alzheimer's Association or the Parkinson's Foundation.
