Christopher T. Patrinelis (Chris) of Springfield, Illinois, passed away peacefully on June 28, 2025, at the age of 80. Born in Decatur, Illinois, he was the beloved son of the late William C. and Christine Patrinelis.

Chris is survived by his loving sisters, Sandra (Ben) Gerstman and Barbara Patrinelis; two cherished nieces, Cristina (Bryan) Montana and Carly Gerstman; his dear great-nephew, Matthew Montana; and three cousins.

Chris had a long career in the land surveying business, where he played a key role mapping land for construction and public use throughout Illinois.

He will be remembered for his lighthearted spirit, sense of humor, and for the love he showed to his family and friends.

A Memorial Service will be held on Sunday, July 13, 2025, at 10:30 a.m. St. Anthony's Greek Orthodox Church, 1600 S. Glenwood, Springfield, IL 62704.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Christopher's memory may be made to St. Anthony's Greek Orthodox Church.
