SPRINGFIELD, IL – Darlene Renee Knoles, 70, passed away Sunday, June 28, 2020, at St. John's Hospital.

She was born in Springfield on September 14, 1949, to Harold and Bertha (Tozer) Knoles. She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Gordon Knoles.

Darlene was a cosmetologist for 46 years. She was a wonderful mother full of life and energy who loved all her family and friends. In her spare time, she loved riding her bicycle, being around horses and spending time outdoors. One of her most favorite things was being a grandma.

She is survived by her sons, Ray Eddy and Brent Knoles.

A Celebration of Life will be held 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. Monday, July 6, 2020, at the Presidential Abraham Lincoln Hotel 701 East Adams Street in Springfield.
