Edward P. Fickett Jr., 63, of Springfield, Illinois, passed away on July 20, 2024. Born in Chicago, Illinois, he was known throughout his community and had many friends.

Edward is survived by his daughters, Brijon Smith and Brooke Flener; sisters, Margie Dowda and Ang Bertucci; brother, David Fickett; three nieces, fourteen great nieces and great nephews; and his companion, Sylvia Davis.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Joan Bertucci who loved him dearly; father, Edward Fickett Sr.; sister, Madeline Fickett and nephew, Michael Meloy.
