Edward R. Seger, Jr.'s Obituary
SPRINGFIELD, IL - Edward R Seger, Jr., 57, passed away on June 19, 2019, at his home.
He was born in Springfield, Illinois on July 8, 1962. He was preceded in death by his parents and his son, Edward Seger III, and his, brother Ernest "Slugger" Harris.
Ed was a former chef and was currently employed at Farmer's Market. Ed enjoy fishing and spending time with his family. He was a avid Chicago Cubs and Chicago Bears fan.
His survived by his daughter, Erica Seger; granddaughter, Layah Goldsberry; and his three sisters.
A memorial service will be held at 6:30 p.m., Thursday, July 11, 2019, at Real Life Church, 2701 Hermitage Road, Springfield, Illinois. A benefit will take place in August. More details to follow at a later date.
