Freda Keller, 93, was born in Edinburg to Fred and Ethel Wright, the last of 8 children. She married Robert R. Keller on March 28, 1946 and was widowed on April 30,1988. Survivors: sons, Robert E. Keller (Connie) and John S. Keller; daughters, Mary E. Graves (Bill), Shirley M. Goldsberry, (Jim), Nancy A. Hopper (Ken) all in the Springfield area, 2 deceased children, Gary L. at 12 years and Sharon L. at 5 weeks. There are 13 grandchildren (1 deceased); 20 great-grandchildren (1 deceased); and 12 great-great-grandchildren.

Freda worked in home health care and then 11 years at St. John's hospital as pharmacy technician retiring at 62 years of age. She was known to be a Christian who read her bible every day and was known for her generosity and kindness. She often said "there is nothing better than family."

Remains will reside with her beloved husband, Bob, at Oak Ridge Cemetery.
