Harriette Ann Seiz Perkins Lewis, 77, died Thursday, April 23, at her home in Springfield.

She was born October 4, 1948, in Springfield, Illinois to Lillian Francis Bliesner and Edgar Harold Seiz. Both preceded her in death, along with brothers, Harold Seiz and Warren Seiz and brother-in-law, Stanley Glick.

A son, Christopher (Elizabeth) Perkins survives, along with granddaughter, Lillian, of Montreal, Missouri. Ann is also survived by a brother, Trent (Colette) Knoles, and sister, Nancee Glick, and several nieces, a nephew, and cousins.

Annie grew up in Missouri and attended high school at School of the Osage in Lake Ozark. She worked as a childcare provider in Springfield for many years.

Annie loved animals, especially her cats and dog, Babee, and her backyard birds. She enjoyed growing flowers and spending time with family and neighbors.

A celebration of life will be held at the Athens Christian Church at 11:30 on Monday, May 4, 2026.
