SPRINGFIELD, IL - Janet Sutton Krueger was born May 8, 1952.  She was adopted by Ed and Fay Sutton and grew up in Peoria.

The family moved to Jacksonville where Janet lived for quite some time before moving to Springfield in the early 2000's.  Janet is survived by her son, Eric Krueger.  Janet was a loving mother whose son will miss her quite a bit.

Janet was a member of the Springfield 2nd ward of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints where she had in the past, taught a class in Relief Society, been a visiting teacher, and loved to attend church every week and the temple as often as possible.  She loved to read, shop, play video games, and watch TV and chill with her son.  She had a keen sense of humor, loved animals, and was friendly to everyone. Her son Eric was the brightest spot in her life.  Janet loved the Savior and returned to his loving embrace on December 24, 2019.
