SPRINGFIELD, IL – Janice Nadine Scantlin, 61, passed away Sunday, December 6, 2020 at her home.

She was born in Springfield, IL on April 10, 1959, to Norman D. and Sylvia Eloise Scantlin. She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Debbie Scantlin.

She is survived by her two daughters, Mandy (Freddy) Alavazarez and Cory Scantlin; grandchildren, Dallas, Justin, and Nadine Alavazarez and Kayahna Brown; sisters Sally (Larry) King and Mary (Jack) Todd; brothers, Norman "Buddy" Scantlin, Ricky Scantlin and Jon Scantlin. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
