SPRINGFIELD – Jeanne Carol Wall, 77, of Springfield, passed away peacefully on August 23, 2025, at her home, surrounded by her loving husband and daughters, after a lengthy illness.

She was born February 3, 1948, in Mt. Vernon, Illinois to Sherman "Max" and Oma Mae (Borah) Davis.

Loving wife of 28 years to Thomas; devoted mother to Rendy (Tom), Tressa (Todd), Creston (Caroline), Dow (Stephanie), and Evan; cherished step-mother to Kristin (Chris) and Autumn (Michael); Beloved grandmother of Keagan (Sammie), Corwin, Creighton, Cashton, Davis, Whitaker, Beatrix, Ragan (Christian), Faythe, Trenton, Turner, Lincoln and Miss Violet; proud step-grandmother of Rory, Logan, Preston and Easton; and special great-grandmother to a soon to arrive little girl. Jeanne is also survived by her dear brother, David (Denise).

She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Larry (Sue); sister, Ruth Ann (Tom); and her canine "children", Sugar, Richtofen and Todd the dog (not the son-in-law).

A huge Chicago Bulls fan, Jeanne was adamant that Michael Jordan IS the real GOAT!

Per Jeanne's wishes, no services will be held, but toast her with a can of Diet Coke.
