E. Joyce Brooks of Springfield, IL, born January 5, 1948 in Harrisburg, IL passed away peacefully on July 13, 2024.

She loved her best friend Polly the Pomeranian. Joyce also loved country music and was an avid Nashville North attendee. Her favorite artist was Ronny McDowell and she had met and spoke with him on multiple occasions. She loved to travel and had been overseas on multiple occasions.

She is survived by 3 daughters, Christina Harris (husband, John Harris), Angela Price (husband, Adrian Price) and Lara Isaacs (husband, Brad Isaacs). She is also survived by two granddaughters, Lindsay Allan and Hannah Reichert and one half-brother, George Budd.

She was preceded in death by 3 grandchildren, Kayla Marie Reichert, Colton (Colty) Lee Sexton and Hailey Anne Allan; husband, Ronald Brooks, mother, Neva Pauleen Lee, and father, David Sadler.

There will be a private service for family at Camp Butler July 25.
