SPRINGFIELD, IL – Michael F. Germann, 64, passed away Monday, December 21, 2020, at Memorial Medical Center.

He was born August 29, 1956, to Frank and Merle (Tinnell) Germann, Jr. He was preceded in death by his parents.

Michael was formerly employed as a registered nurse with Memorial Medical Center for 20 years, St. Joseph's Home for 5 years and various home health agencies for 8 years before retiring in 2012. He was a member of Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception and Knights of Columbus #4179. He loved animals and had several pets throughout his life.

He is survived by his housemate and dear friend, Marcus A. Willman; brother, Steven Germann; and nephew, Jonathan Germann.

A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, January 28, 2021, at Calvary Cemetery.
