Patrick LaVerne Drummond, also known as Pat, passed away on July 11, 2024, at the age of 53. Born on April 7, 1971, in Macomb, IL, Patrick was a beloved resident of Springfield, IL. He was a handyman by profession and took great pride in his work.

Patrick had a passion for fixing things and helping others. He was known for his love of antiques, which he enjoyed collecting and restoring. In his free time, Patrick found solace in relaxing after a long day and watching crime series. He was an avid fan of Cardinals baseball and enjoyed cheering for his favorite team.

One of Patrick's proudest accomplishments was being a father to his daughter, Jessica Roth. He loved spending time with her and cherished their bond.

Patrick is preceded in death by his parents, Harry Drummond of Good Hope, IL, and Eva Drummond of Good Hope, IL, as well as his brothers, Harry Drummond of Avon, IL, and Richard Rhea of Oklahoma.

In addition, Patrick is survived by his sisters, Patricia and Harold Feikert (Drummond) of Killeen, TX, Nancy Drummond of Good Hope, IL, Sandy Blue (Rhea) of Fountain Green, IL, Teresa (Rhea) Holdefer of Colchester, IL, Myka and Jeff (Rhea) Clark of GreenBay, Wisconsin, and Cindy and Wayne (Rhea) VanFossen of Toledo, IA.

He also leaves behind numerous nieces, nephews, and three grandchildren.

Patrick will be remembered for his silly nature, full of excitement and joy. He impacted the lives of others through his willingness to lend a hand and his dedication to those he loved. His memory will forever live on in the hearts of his family and friends.
