Sandra "Sandy" Jane Reed (Eggleston)

Born April 3, 1949 in Springfield, Illinois at St. John's Hospital and passed away at Arcadia Care on the Hill on November 18, 2025.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Calvin and Ruth Eggleston; brother, Daniel Eggleston; her beloved son, Daniel Rogers; and her beloved granddaughter, Drew Rogers.

She is survived by her children and grandchildren, Rodney Reed of Springfield, Illinois, Jane(Keith, Cameron) Walker of Pittsfield, Illinois, June Cerar of Athens, Illinois, Jenny(Matt, Lillie, Hunter) Willis of Athens, Illinois, Tommy Cerar of Carlinville, Illinois, Carl Rogers (Jackie, Deacon & Dakota) of Springfield, Illinois, Johanna Rogers (David, & Dean) of Springfield, Illinois.

Additional important family she celebrated holidays with includes Deb and Todd, Kari and Jen, Amber and Flynn, and Chase and Bekah.

She enjoyed car rides with music and ice cream through parks to see the ducks, playing bingo, coloring, getting her nails done, visits from family, watching parades, and watching her favorite TV programs such as Wheel of Fortune, Family Feud, and Hallmark movies.

She enjoyed her life in the care of Arcadia on the Hill since 2011. Thank you all.
