CHATHAM – Steven Wayne Menary, 72, passed away Friday, September 5, 2025 at his home.

He was born May 7, 1951 to Douglas C. and Mary A. (Huduc) Menary.  He was preceded in death by his parents; his sister and brother, Lillian Menary and David Menary; and his ex-wife, Jeneane H. Menary.

Steven was a 1971 graduate of Lakeland Senior High School in Lakeland, FL.  He studied at Chipola Jr. College in Marianna, FL.   He had worked as a computer technician for the State of Illinois from 1978 to 1981.  He had also worked at Best Buy as the Major Appliance Supervisor.

He is survived by his two daughters, Jessica (Josh) Chrisman and Rhonda Stoffel; ex-wife, Sharon Hull; 6 grandchildren, Carrie Farley, Molly Long, Ryan Chrisman, Ashton Chrisman, Brandon Chrisman, and Ellie Chrisman; 4 nieces, Kimberly Menary Reed, Melanie Challender, Denise Lawhun, and Heather Schubert; and many great nieces and nephews.

Steven loved his family more than anything.  He will be missed.
