Terri Gooding died peacefully on May 30, 2026, at St. John's Hospital in Springfield at age 59.

Terri is survived by her daughter, Krista Gooding of Litchfield; brothers, Kevin Johnston of Litchfield and Sam Gunning Jr. of White City; and several nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Sam and Nora Gunning of Carlinville; and brother, Darryl Gunning of Varna.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
