William G. "Bill" Forgas passed away Friday, October 16, 2026. He was born September 22, 1953 to Paul and June Krug Forgas.

Bill was a private locksmith and also security guard for several businesses.

Bill loved kids especially his nieces and nephews, he was everyone’s favorite uncle.

He was preceded in death by his parents and brothers, Paul M. "Mike" and Martin Forgas.

He is survived by sisters, Christine Parker (Bill), Melissa Davis (Tom) and Susan Bryant; brothers, Henry, Matthew (Beth) and Timothy (Mary Cutler); plus several nieces and nephews.

Funeral Mass: 10:00 a.m., Thursday, October 29, 2026, at St. Cabrini Church, 1020 N. Milton, Springfield, IL

Visitation: 9:00 a.m. - 9:45 a.m. Thursday, October 29, 2026, in the Church Hall alongside of St. Cabrini Church

Internment: Private graveside services at Calvary Cemetery following the Mass
