SPRINGFIELD, IL – Zachary Greenwalt, 38, passed away Thursday, September 12, 2019, at his home.

He was born in Springfield on May 30, 1981, to Rebecca Jane Greenwalt and Terry Buerkett. He was preceded in death by his mother, Rebecca; grandparents, Rollin and Frances Greenwalt and Robert and Marceline Buerkett.

Zachary was previously employed by Shell Jiffy Stop, The Curve Inn and Burger Bar.

He is survived by his sister, Morgan Davis; and father, Terry Buerkett.

A Celebration of Life and Benefit will be held at 3 p.m. Sunday, October 27, 2019, at the Curve Inn.
